Thanks Beahmer! I have everything filled out, but before I proceed to purchase, have you had any issues with your Angel Eye upgrade throwing codes/errors for your 6? Thanks!

good that you are installing the 5W since when I got mines 3w was the only option I had. I understand that 5w ifs alil' brighter than 3 but what I want is typo get them as bright add the latest models that use HID and look amazing.

I'll play around now that we are getting the good weather east to siege if I can get them to work brighter w/o errors.

I am interested in the upgraded brighter look. I have 2005 645ci convertible triple black with the factory xenon lights. I'm confused do you replaced the rings in the headlight assembly or the bulb( like in the youtube clip) makes the rings bright white.

You just replace the bulb as in the DIY section where I show how to do it and what to buy.

Were these much much bright than the stock? Was it similar to the new bmws where they are bright on the angel eyes stock? Any error code?

these are brighter than the OEM ones and look great in white but not even close to the latest ones on the new bimmer models.

Reviving an old thread...

What is the verdict? 3W, 5W or HID?

Thanks

The quality seems to be just fine and they are less expensive.

I have had AiB's since they first came out.

Not being in America if I want to upgrade to the latest version I need to send them back...

Going back to stock Angeleyes while I wait is not an option so I've bought a set of cheapo ebay units to do me in the meantime....

10w Cree A-E's <~ the brightest available for Pre-LCI ($120)

fitting tonight
