Spy Shots: Nissan GT-R Runs 'Ring Undisguised

Winding Road's spy photographers grabbed these pics of the face lifted Nissan GT-R on the Nurburgring. Looks like a nice mid life cycle refresh for Nissan's 'affordable' super car. Click through the link to see all the pictures.

Our spy photographer caught a pack of refreshed Nissan GT-Rs on a foggy day at the Nürburgring.

The new GT-R has a revised front bumper and rear diffuser, and looks to get LED lighting. Not available in the photos, it will also have an updated suspension, weight savings, and a modest increase in power.

It’ll likely see an official debut soon, as it looks to be up to production spec.

Here are some photos of the uncammoed Nissan GT-R on its last minute testing at a very foggy and rainy Nürburgring. They had several cars there as you can see on the photos.

The Mighty GT-R aka The Exotic Slayer aka GODZILLA... RETURNS!!! With more power and lighter from what I hear. I'm sure it will remain one of the most dominant vehicles on Earth! Looks are subjective... Stats are NOT.

Looks like they tried to cram a Vette rear end, Masarritti front end, Subaru midsection all into one car. Gezzzz.....what will they think of next. Has originality gone out the window?

Not sure about the headlights, diggin the rear though I personally like the R34 body GTR. I think that was the last style before the current one..(nissan nut correct me if im wrong). Now, THAT is a car to reckon with

Its not to hard to argue that its one of the greatest performing cars ever created... numbers prove it... it does look better than before, but i don't think id ever buy one... Autocar UK said that the new Mclaren mp4-12c can be related to the r35 gt-r... just so technologically advanced that it even knocks the socks off the Ferrari 458 italia. For me thats a bit of a turn-off, i respect the crap out of cars that can easily out perform just about anything because of their mechanical wizardry. BUT, those cars have there place.... and i believe most people on this forum have a passion for the "drivers cars"... but thats just my opinion

I guess looks are subjective. I think that is the only thing that looks good about the car. But certainly respect the specs.

I do have to say though, the car is too loud. There was one in Times Sq yesterday and Times Square is known for loud, gaudy, showy stuff, this car stood out. Not a good thing to me.

I think it looks awesome but i am very Nissan faithful... until i brought a BMW anyway..
