8tl option on x5 35d or x5 3.5/5.0

I ordered a 35d and it has the combox on the build sheet but no 8tl led angel eye, i was wondering if anyone else with a 35d had it on there build sheet because i'm thinking they will only be doin it for certain option packages.

i ordered prem, tech, prem sound, cold weather. and i don't have it on my build with a 35d, was hoping we can all post what we ordered and wether or not we have it on the build sheet so we may get some better insight on the data.

To be most definitive, note the estimated build week for the vehicle, and the date the build sheet was printed out.

Scheduled production was week 39
Build started in week 38 and finished on 9/30

The build sheet showed both 6VC and 8TL. Time will tell, but I doubt there will be any change with the lights but the CA is confident about the Combox after his talk with BMWNA. I'll let you all know what happens when the car arrives in a couple weeks.

hard to say if its an option that the 8tl is associated with for the 35d since u basically ordered ur car with everything! lol. We need to see others! anyone else?

You're right, a little aggressive with the box-checking when ordering. If a loaded 35D with a build sheet showing 8TL and 6VC doesn't have them, bad news.

I have the 6VC, no 8TL

I read in another forum that the LED's come standard on the x50i, maybe that would explain why I don't have 8TL on my build sheet?

The same here. I initaly ordered on 8/26 and had 8tl option on the build sheet, but then made a color change on 09/27 and 8TL option was not there anymore. Build week 40. 6VC is on the list.
