ticking when going to start up car?
When I get in my car and do not put the key in there is a constant ticking (like from the radio)..
seems like something to do with the AC unit.....anyone else have a similar experience. |

I'm sure its something that the car is doing to get ready for you to start it...ie fuel pump, oil pump, etc.

If you do not have the new I drive (07 to 09) than you are hearing the Nav DVD player starting up.

Keep in mind this is happening when I did not even put the key in the ignition. When I open the door and close it I hear the noise....literally coming from the AC unit controls dead center. |

It is the CD. It is trying to get the CD ready to its last position/track.
