Just picked up my new X5d -- pics coming - question about idrive

I noticed when you're looking at the map on the nav screen and you click the "point of interest" icon, you get a new screen with search options, including an option at the bottom that says "online search" -- I hit that and it says service isn't available and to try again later. This seems to be a different search option from the BMW Search online option available for 199 bucks a year (I have that option FWIW).

Can someone explain what this search option is (and whether my car isn't right or it's just not live yet) because I'm certain BMW customer relations cannot .
