Help?!? X5 instrument cluster has gone to French?!?

Hi all

I've had a look on the forums and tried a couple of suggestions but nothing so far has worked ...

For some reason my instrument cluster has gone to French ... It's still on miles and centigrade but the main warning panel that tells you things like fuel low etc are in French... Also the satnav etc is all still English it's only the instrument cluster that has changed ?!?

Any ideas on how I can reset this back to English would be great ... I've tried the right button holding trick and nothing happens

Thanks in advance

Richard

Very unusual fault. I think you will need to get BMW to do a software download. I don't think there are any options on the cluster to change the language.

Don't know whether it's any help or not but I recently read on another forum about the same thing.

The guy had turned off speed camera alerts and the Nav screen stayed English but the dash alerts changed to French.

Turning Speed Camera Alerts back on solved his problem

Have you tried sending an email to BMWNA about your problem?
Just check what they are going to say.

Google how to unlock the OBC and then go into the necessary screen to change the language of the OBC.
