That thing looks super clean....i say go for it.

A guy i used to be friends with last summer bought a "pristine" E36 M3 with 112k on the clock for 9k, despite me telling him not to for about a month because the cooling system had not been replaced, and none of the suspension bushings looked fresh.


He paid the guy $8800, and today he's looking at RTABS, FCABS, RSM's, FSM's, Tie Rods, LCA's, Radiator, Upper and lower hoses, as well as a water pump.



Grand total?
$2,880

He promised me that the car was good and that he wouldn't have to worry about anything.

Yeah, for real. You'd have to be certifiably insane to accept anything other than cash when selling stuff on CL.

I'd accept a cashier's check, under one condition, and that condition being me being at the bank while he writes it

Cashier's check is cash in my view.

There has been a ton of fraud with them over the last few years though Karl.

Awesome car... But 30k?! I'm sure some JDM nutjob will pay it, but there are much better cars that you can buy for 30k.

i've paid for stuff off cl with a personnal check before...

but yeah, mostly cash. there are some unscrupulous peoples out there.

and +1 to the 'v6' in the car, as well as 'may need a tune up'...

When it's a used car dealership they should take something other then just cash. Maybe you missed that part. It has the location and hours open in the add.
