I didnt have that issue at all. I said, "let me get those rims son." and he said, "word you need shoes too?" And i was like "naw I got the hookup at the place ya know?" hw was like, "Bet." and a week later I was stylin....

Or...

I called and ordered my rims and they shipped them with in a week. Nobody said anything about only 1 rim..
also i paid 150 a pop for the style I liked and even at 200 a pop its about as much as most ppl are asking for a nice set with curb rash on CL so I disagree

They have 100s of wheels on eBay at any given time, single wheels, very few sets, and they are almost double overpriced. They are asking $300 a wheel for some

Yeah, for example, they're asking $350 per 17x8.5" contour, which is crazy. That's $1400 for all four, plus shipping. You should be able to find a set of non-curbed contours for less than $500.

That's the exact wheel I was thinking of when I said they were double overpriced.

No worries, Josh. Honestly, their prices aren't bad at all for a retailer. We're just accustomed to people cleaning out their garages and selling stuff for next to nothing on Craigslist.

Yeah, that's the risk. A lot of people probably don't even know if their rims are bent. The two fronts on my car were slightly bent by the previous owner (potholes, I'm guessing), but they have zero blemishes and look brand new. When I test drove the car before buying it, I thought that it just needed to have the wheels balanced. Took them to be balanced, and the shop said they wouldn't balance out... Damn.

If I were to buy used wheels on CL, I'd have the seller sign a form stating that he will refund the money if the wheels turn out to be bent. The winter wheels I just bought were sourced from by local BMWCCA forum, which is a great place to buy used parts, because everyone knows what they're selling, and if you sell bunk parts to someone, you're going to be face to face with the unhappy buyer at the next club event.

Is it the fact that the listing is in ALL CAPS that makes you think this? Or the fact that he claims the car has the Dinan "sport" package, yet the car is 4x4 status? Or is it the fact that he claims that BMW manufactured the M30 for 40 years? Or is it the fact that he thinks it's "VERY VERY RARE"?

I won't even read a posting if it's in all caps. Hurts my eyes.
