Mein Auto: rescued bmw's
plus it looks like it had, uh,...'company' swirling about it in some of the pics. not sure if a chorus of angelic spirits hailing the e30 m3, or evil spawn waiting to thwart the next owner and smite with perilous minions...

I laugh
It's missing the cheese grater rear spoiler, massive rear and front bumpers and the OPH. Otherwise, it'd be a complete ricer.

^Not in a million years. That's a $2500-3000 car, max. Seller is beyond delusional for asking $7500. He also appears to not know which wheels the engine powers...

hahahaha, you can not find a BMW up here that is in half decent shape for under $5k. If you do they are very rough and in reality only worth $2k most.
The hard top should add some value but still not $7500, even with 2nd set of rims.
It does run smooth as butter though and for the miles on it the chassis is solid but still not worth that price. Oh yes the FWD, most likely that was a default entry.

1. The Peg to Calgary is an 11 hour drive.

2. Have the owner post clear photo's.

3. The ad states:

M-Style Package
. That is complete BS. Not one thing ///M about that car.

4. If you're serious, call Sheni's Auto Trend in Calgary, and see if they'll let you pay by phone with a cc to have the owner drop it off for them to perform a PPI. That will tell you flat out if it's worth the trip.

I seen it is not an M by any means, I like your idea on having it checked first, save a lot of wasted time traveling for nothing.

I have requested some clear pics but no response so that tells me something already.

Jonesin, you better have your speedo checked, 1400 km in 11hrs, hard to do unless you are really flying and do not need to stop. I can't afford the tickets, anything over 120 is an automatic visit to the judge.

According to Google maps, it's 1331 km. In 11 hours that's 121 km/h. I stopped once for gas.

Hey everybody, i'm new here. Looking to buy my first Bimmer.
The one above looks really good for the price, though i'm not sure how much work the engine would need. I'm more realistically looking for a 96-98 328i or around that, budget for 2-4k, manual ofc. If anybody could point me in the right direction with what a good deal would be, that's be great. Thanks!
