Jen, so what's the story on that Seattle M3? I never saw the CL posting because it was flagged before I could get a chance to look at it. Have you heard anything from the owner (if it's real)?

Nope...and I had called him last night to ask him whereabouts he was located and left hinm a VM. Never did hear back. Seems odd, though, he was a well spoken guy and had kids in the car...not the kind of person you'd expect as a scammer

This is the email I got back. A scam, no?

"Still available but unfortunately I am not home right now because my sister had a car accident last week and suffered a head trauma so I had to come here to take care of my nephew and watch things around until the doctors investigate and make sure she's alright. I don't mean to impose, but I was just explaining my situation. I am selling this through CNT anyway so the sale does not interfere with my situation.

I believe you know what CNT is if you are selling or buying often online but if you don't no problem I'll be happy to walk you through the process. Drop me an email if you are still interested and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thanks

- Leslie"

I'm not sure what that is, but maybe it's consignment? Might not be a scam...

Well I have no idea what CNT is... unless you can find the car there, or know of CNT- I'd say its a scam.

Yup. I don't have an E30 myself (yet).

And this makes me drool:

http://jackson.craigslist.org/cto/3246755126.html

I'd rather have the 3.0, but that's close enough!

there's a Bavaria sedan at the gas station down the street that's just sitting in the back of the used car lot... that signature pointed front end does something for me.

I don't know how many of you know of the Celica All-Trac ST185 but I just found one.
My dad owned one when I was little and it's like my favorite car - a dream car if you will - besides the e36 of course!
It may not be the best handling car, but hell, I like it.

Those things were fairly sought after back in the day, and still are. Good rally cars.

Dunno what cnt means. It's not a regional phrase.

Press them to see it. Ask where they are near. I'm in the broad ripple area.

IMO the ST165 is too boxy but I love all cars with pop up headlights.
