Eh if it is a real BMW part it looks like one of those cheapo Ebay seats with the knock off ///M embroidered to it. Look at those bolsters, what kind of factory car needs something that aggressive looking.

Ah, that makes much more sense. I didn't think about replica seats.

gotcha. would like to have an m50 or such to play with the intake manifold fab i need to do for the supercharger i have.

i was planning on putting the e28 on the road, but it may be a little bit still. lots of other things going on....

but it would be rather nice to be able to have a motor on a stand that i could work on without sacrificing the daily.

was toying with the idea of installing the sc on the e28, as that is off the road right now, but i just got it back together a little bit ago and really do not feel like pulling it apart again. might attempt to do a side mount with intercooler on the e28 instead of trying to put it on cadence, as i think it would be really cool to be able to make some plates to sell to adapt these things to non oe applications.

will be going to the farm on monday, so i will be able to get a better idea as to the amount of room available. iirc, i may have to relocate the coolant reservior.

we'll see, though.....it seems that i have more cars that belong to other people that need to be fixed. not much time for mine.

So did anyone pick up that manifold from Minnesota? I have plans for one way down the road, but I jump at stuff at the right price.

minnesota is a bit far for me, it's all yours man.

$80 isn't cheap for an m50 manifold. I got one off bfc for 45 shipped a few months ago

To be fair, If i had never attended a Euro show I would have seen one of them in my life

they are pretty rare cars all things considered
