5 speed swap? Because that auto trans is toast. Try for less if you are serious.

My thoughts exactly, but I am wondering about the nature of the "skip" if its in the motor or the trans. But I'd end up swapping in another auto if I did it. It would be for the wife and she can't drive a 5spd. But I may have to take drastic action to keep my 328 safe from her. She has attempted theft of it twice now in a month.

That does not look bad at all!

I would definitely take it for a test drive, also test drive a 325 or 328 to see if you feel that you will be satisfied with a lowly 4 cylinder.

Actually, my guess is that he just didn't fill the transmission all the way up with fluid (it's kinda tricky). As long as he hasn't driven it long enough to do much damage, I say buy it and fill her up with trans fluid. My bet is that it'll work (assuming he is being honest about it running fine before the filter change). My transmission did the same thing when it was low on fluid after replacing the trans fluid cooler.

Good advice. I'd trailer it home anyway, and then see if that works. Guess I just have to decide if its worth to me if the trans is bad. Ironically I called that ad when looking for my car and he never returned my message. Seems kinda grouchy too doesn't he?

I know I thought I would be satisfied with the 318 when I first started looking and then I drove one, I now have a 328. Not to knock it but it just didn't have the power delivery I was hoping for, but of course it gets better gas mileage than a 325 or 328, but not enough of a difference to make it worth it (IMHO).

Thanks for your kind input. How much gas mileage difference I would get roughly?
In may case I drive 120 km/daily to my job + weekend 100 km = 700 km / week

White on Dove?

Vin decode says Heck/Mech, which as far as I can tell is RWD/Manual. Looks like a sweet car on paper. Wouldn't pay 10k for it though.

You want it at a dealer to trade?

White on Dove > White on Tan.

No. Clears were never offered on stock USDM cars.

Idk how that works with a Lein on the car and all. Unless I sold the car and paid the loan off then gave the Lein papers to the new owner all in the same day lol

Call the company you have your loan with and ask. They'll tell you. Basically when the buyer goes to register the car, they get the title from the lien holder instead of from you. You will owe the balance of the loan if you sell for less than the lien.
