My buddy Eddie was in Lexington, KY and spotted one of those in front of an antique and curio shop. It had large clay pots of flowers all over it. He texted me a picture of it, and after researching (like you did) maybe a floral display is the best end for it. Apparently they were awful (but they look so cool!)

Yeah so far it seems like none of them were properly pieced together, and its not a matter of finding a "good" one, rather finding one that hasn't completely destroyed itself yet

DF....the normal 'right click and save as' is not working. If there are particular pictures you want, let me know....I can save them as PDFs and email them to you

nah, i just wanted to be able to save the pics for the forum, as this will wind up going to an error screen or post not available or some-such. just way too cool to not keep pics around of this thing. didn't even know they made a mid engine air cooled boxer set up.

click image and drag it to the tab section, it will bring you to this link:

http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NDM1WDU4MA==/$T2eC16RHJHYE9nzpdVQHBQnESNmBDQ~~60_3.JPG

then take that link and surround it with [img] and [/img_] <(remove space)

that gives you:

Cheap M3, only problem is the MAF. Maybe it's a dirty MAF sensor. . .

If I had a BMW farm, or even a driveway, I'd probably snap this up.

That looks extremely scamish. No phone number, no email address except through CL.

Phone number is in the body of the text, and it's a local area code.

Who knows, though. Could be scammy, or could be legit. In all fairness, I'd never list my phone number or email address in CL. Don't want that info being gobbled up by the unscrupulous kind.

I list my phone number in all of my craigslist ads. I think you get more responses that way. I have had very few, if any, problems with spam sent to my phone.

I have a google voice number I use for cl ads. I list it, and I agree, I get much better responses.
Good thing with google voice, I can change the number... And change where it calls (like my desk or cell) Never had a problem in the 3+ years of the number.

You can get it forwarded to your cell? That's awesome, I'll have to check it out.

thanks for saving those pics guys.

just such a cool piece of bmw history. if i had the room i would have that in my garage. of course, i need a garage to have the room....so, yeah...

kinda looks like a karman ghia to me, but that's because of the headlights.

still, an air cooled boxer bmw engine??!!

anyway...it'll just waste away as i have no place to work on it. but how cool would that be to roll up in b'fest east in something like that??

although I did not want a black car, this black on black one seems to be a clean car.

1 owner for that many years/miles, and always dealer serviced. Must be too good to be true, I mean c'mon.

You are killing me here, Joe. Really. How many cars can one girl have? That is a screaming deal if it's correct. That interior looks great. Slap a SI on there, and you are set for life.

Step away from the checkbook. Put your pen in the air

EDIT....just saw the mileage. Maybe not so much of a great deal. But I've never seen so many records on a single owner before. That was kinda cool.
