Just sell the clutch setup to recoup a few hundred dollars.

This is a guy a know in CT. Pretty damn good deal for 8k mi.

IDK I'rn looking to get a cheap Euro one or something. Just get the tranny first then get the clutch when I get my tax return money.

i need the top mount manifold, the TRM kit(tune injectors maf) a 4 bolt downpipe t3/t4 adapter flange and the assorted hoses. So I don't have a lot... all i really have is the snail

things i have, intercooler, 3" hardpipe with BOV, precision 57mm turbo, the cams, and a lot of day dreams

Ive been thinking about boosting lately too.

no i dont own it yet. have to wait for the owner to get another car first.. but im ready to buy it and tow it to my moms house to have a motor ready.

been searching for some and things are looking good.

But what's the point of a lowered Camry, anyway? It's always going to look like a Camry. Seems like it makes more sense to build a sensible DD camry and then go nuts with your BMW. At least a BMW can look cool. A camry doesn't stand a chance to ever be visually appealing.

I don't understand... I swear this stuff has been for sale for close to a year... Seems like a good deal. I would pick it up myself but I think an E36 rallyx car would be a more fun way to spend my extra cash.

That old girl needs a lot of work. Probably 5-10k in body work alone for rust repair and paint, then all the little things that will inevitably fail.

Guys.. We should rent a garage and start a BMW refurb and sales shop. sell high quality used and refurbed BMWs at or below market price, offer to perform mods and maintenance: profit.

Well he has a TON of spare parts... So I don't see a huge issue there.

And it appears as all of the structural parts are rust free... I wouldn't care about body rust on an old car. Gives it some character.

PleasepleasePLEASE one of you jump on that! That's an incredible deal. The spare parts alone are worth more than the asking price.

Meh, might pick up this thing this weekend. I know the guy and he said he'll do 400 for it. Definitely worth it, but I won't really have time to work on it until the summer.

Not if you do it your self. I could fix the rust and repaint it for around $500-1000.
I could seriously see scraping $850 together in a few weeks. Would buying it be a good idea. I have be wanting a project car for a while. I was think that when summer rolled around that I would look for something like an Alfa Romeo spider or maybe a Miata, but this seems like a good deal.

That 6er would be a great project. Biggest plus is it's a five-speed Euro.

I'm not questioning the idea of lowering a car to absurd levels, just questioning why anyone would want to pimp out a Camry.
