I know, I know. but im tired of painting on this particular "canvas" and having one a few years newer with less wear on the body wouldn't hurt either. sure it has high miles, but that doesn't mean anything to us, we'll keep replacing bushings and cooling systems till we've depleted every possible natural resource to keep making them. that being said, i have a plethora of "extra" new never installed cooling system parts, and at the least all id have to repurchase would be a suspension refresh kit. as for power upgrades, I've learned to be patient and like what I've got. I can't deny that owning an actual M wouldn't be vainly satisfying though.

The m3 by me sold for 1800 yesterday. Only problems were no registration and a bad cam position sensor.

Regret not getting that one.

Tnat's what you know now.

I bought my E36 thinking it needed registration and a crank sensor, and maybe some vac leaks taken care of.

..........One crank sensor, new engine, radiator, and a host of other parts and I now have it on non-op.

You'll flip it for twice what you have in it (not counting sweat equity), so hush.

I'm in it about 3 grand here after bringing reg current, buying a new engine, and all the other parts so far. Maybe more. Trying not to think about it. I'm shooting for $4500 out of it but we'll see. At this point, knowing what I know now, I regret the purchase. I paid too much for it needing an engine and spent too long trouble shooting other issues only to find out it was that bad.

I spent too much time I could have been hanging out with Brit & the girls or resting working on the damn thing for not enough payout, and it will be a lot of work to sell at my price. I might not be as frustrated if I knew right off I'd be pulling an engine and could have just jumped right to that, and if I didn't have 2 other car projects, 2 projects at my dad's business, and a major regulatory compliance project going on right now at work that's been hitting some major bumps lately (like the whole IT software dev team disappearing).

But, what's done is done.

Actually, it isn't. Still haven't smogged it yet. Sigh.

That's what I found out from hearing from the guy who bought it. I'm sure it could have problems but for that cheap you could easily part it out for profit

I'm still having a hard time with this Porsche fetish I've developed in the last month. I know its a 924, and I'd prefer a 944 but it's nice looking.

Looks sharp!!! Hate the wheels, don't flow with the body at all, but that can be changed. I love the inlay in the wood trim, I didn't realize E32s had that. And that dent should be easily fixable with PDR for relatively cheap.

Only thing is the price seems steep. That's E38 territory there.
