Buy one of each and combine to make an engine less rot box and/ or clean driver .

No way. Not to mention that nobody trusts a motor built by a couple guys with no mechanic experience.

None down here except for rust buckets, and the four of them my friend Bill has. Two projects, two parts cars.

meh, by the time you get the crank, (eat the core...it's wasted), rods, pistons and rings, you could have much more cheaply gotten a used motor installed.

for less.

and that doesn't count the time to assemble it all, and hope the cam journals didn't get starved of oil, either. no bearings in ohc camshafts...

no, your best bet is to possibly part it out, or, sit on it and wait for a motor to come into play.

you could possibly buy a wrecked car, or one with a blown trans even. i've worked on these things with 200k and *minimal* maintenance done to them. they run like a timex.

that's why the immigant farm workers love them. they'll go to the local pic-n-pull and grab a motor out of another chassis and drop it in there and drive all over the east coast with it, then sell it to buy a better one.

trust me, the hondas and toyotas are *always* picked clean @ thse places. unlike mazdas, saabs, mb, and vw...

just don't see too many bmw's, but when they do show up, they get pretty well picked over as well...

That first one is gangsta.
But the second is very well written ad, and a nice looking car with proper pictures. He must have posted to CL by mistake. I am curious about the price. I'd call him and ask him if he'd take $8353 or if he's solid on $8354?

Joe how serious are you about the 2002? I can look around here for you too.
And Franklyn, it's about 16 hours to here but I could look for a motor for you too if you want.

Let's pretend like you didn't say this. That car is King Rice who reigns over fartcanland. I'd rather ride a bike with foil in the spokes.

Do it come wit de hos?

You'd like Lambo doors until you had them. They are a royal PITA. Amber had some on her car....for about a week.

No pix of Amber's car with the Lambos. That was before I knew her. She hated the things almost immediately. I don't know if they didn't work correctly or what, but she had them installed and within a week had them removed. I believe she sold the kit long ago.
