To me those are way sexier than 5s. A lot easier to clean, too.

I know that guy. He's parted out a dozen or so E36 M3s. Probably just uses a generic photo of one to advertise all of his parts.

I'm thinking about picking this up

http://westernmass.craigslist.org/cto/3573162727.html

The Ranger just isn't doing what I need it to do, which being a snow capable vehicle and worth of daily commuting if the E36 is grounded for long periods of time.

I emailed the guy and he said it passed inspection last month, all the lights work, and none are currently on. I asked about how it was leaning in the picture, he replied that his driveway is uneven and it could be low on air in a tire. Doesn't know if it has the dreaded disco air suspension, his name is gilbert, I think Gilbert is an elderly person. If I like what I see i'll offer 1500 in cash.

I know this is a major setback to project boost, but I really need a second daily driver for when i have to fix all the things on the E36, preferably at once.

If you want a snow capable daily, why don't you get an old subaru? You know how to work on those, too.

i can't take the subaru wheeling or fit an engine in the back, or tow a trailer. I like subarus, believe me i do, but i already have a car, i want an SUV/truck, with lockable 4x4 rather than awd. besides, i am confident in my ability to repair anything that i own... wanting to, on the other hand

for real though, lockable 4x4 is a huge plus for me, subie AWD is alright, but even still there are times where it's just not enough, plus the 4 poppers in them are neither powerful nor that efficient. Not to say the 4.0 ohv in the Disco is, that sad sack only makes 183BHP and 233 lb/ft of torque, its the space, luxury, and proven off road ability that draws me to them... even if Chad has owned one
