Blast it, that's realtively close, and I'm out of money now. I may go look at it anyway.

Edit: NVM....Gulfport FLORIDA, not Gulfport, MS. 500 miles vs. 100. No thanks.

When is the last time you saw an M5 with a cloth interior?

Haha yeah, I'm still gonna check it out. I asked the guy if he'd consider trading for the 540i and my 600rr. If he was considering it, I'd get a PPI and go from there

I thought you learned your lesson from your last salvage M5. Ready for more, are you?

I didn't get a PPI last time, which would have saved me a lotta money and headaches. I'm not committed to buying this, I don't even know if the seller is interested.

Hard to imagine a $10k salvaged M5 with "469hp" and "full leather interior" is going to be worth the money spent on a PPI, because you know it's going to need everything. Still, I'm curious to see what happens with it.

Yeah I'm def not gonna let myself jump into a huge money pit. This time around I know what to realistically expect. I'm talking to members in the e39 section too

Yeah I'm not really a fan of that interior, but I imagine it'd sell pretty dang quick on ebay. being that it'd sit all winter, that'd give me time to find some rough seats and get them recovered

Just to update here, I purchased the 1995 325is, for 1900.00! I have already repaired the majority of the minor issues and cleaned up the interior quite a bit. I'll post pics tomorrow night or Sunday. (in a separate thread of course)

Im not out looking to get rid of the 540i, but if I could trade up to an m5 by also getting rid of my 600rr I'd consider that a great success!
