1998 Z3 / wood grain kit questions

I am looking for a wood grain kit for my 1998 Z3 non-m. I would like to look at others than EBAY. Also now I have a silver/pearl color kit that came with the car when I bought it. I believe it's aftermarket. I plan to remove it and replace it with the wood grain. As anyone tried to remove one of these kits before ?? Anything I should look out for ??? I plan to use my heat gun on low and very carefully, then just pull and pry to remove..... it this correct ??

Unfortunately the company, Woodcorp, where I picked up a set of door hockey sticks seems to be out of business. However I plugged "automotive interior wood kits" into google and came up with a couple of vendors that carry what you're looking for.

As far as removal goes, a heat gun on low and slow patient prying and pealing should work. Any left over adhesive should be cleanable with a solvent like 'Goof-Off'. The operative word here is 'should', I've no direct experience, so I'm just telling you what I'd try.

Not sure what u want to trade. I don't think the stuff I have in the car will be any good once I remove it. Be safe JIM
