Does anyone have the multi-contour and Nappa leather option? Was it worth the money?

The standard seats are mediocre at best, so either get the sport or Multi-contour seats. I'm not very fond of the standard Nevada leather either, but then again, Nappa leather is a pricey upgrade. Yet it includes a sweet leather dash which feels really nice. If I had the money, I'd order both options.

I ordered the multi contour seats. Awesome! So many ways to adjust, frankly it's almost too many adjustments. Just when I've fiddled with it for a week and have it just right, I go to save it in memory and hit the wrong button, and it's back to start again. Finally got it saved today. Did not get the nappa leather, thought it was too much, and I felt the leather on the dash would not hold up well in the long run.

Thanks guys, agree on all accounts, but... went with the Multi-C and Nappa option... will have to see about the leather care on the dash... will start another post on care recommendations on the leather dash... am sure it's not a first-time subject, but didn't see it in the forums yet.
Cheers!

Got the nappa leather dash and console. It's my favorite option. The look is so different. Very classy. Care is pretty simple. I use lexol conditioner about once a month. Pics attached.

@Gregory34, it's a good-lookin' interior.
Thanks for the tip on Lexol... that's my next question to see what will help the leather dash to hold up against the beating sun. Besides sunshades, that will require teaching my wife to actually using them....

Keep in mind that ventilated seats and the massage-function are NOT available with the Nappa leather - don't ask me why. On the 5 series, it is.. ![]() However, you can get the Nappa-dash and the ventilated seats in Nevada leather - also multi-C.. Last edited by 760Lifan; 11-21-2010 at 09:25 PM. |
