E32 oil gusher
well, my rickety ass BMW is running like nature intended... and leaking oil at an alarming rate.
I checked all of the inlet and outlet lines, replaced all O-rings on the inlet and outlet line and washers on the God-forsaken banjo bolts. I can not find the leak anywhere. Is there something I might be missing. A common problem for oil hemorrhaging that is located somewhere in close relation to the oil in/out lines that I should check next or should I just set it on fire and smile devilishly as the bane of my existence is completely taken over by flames? again any help would be greatly appreciated |

Its an engine oil leak of the grandest proportion... I have been trying to get pics but there is no way to get anything that would help anyone diagnose... the stream and I do mean stream runs from the dark abyss that is the right bank of the motor and flows to the ground via the motor mount... where it starts I have noooo idea

The oil from the oil pump passes thru the drivers side part of the upper motor mount.
There are hose connections to the oil filter and back that connect on the outside and O-rings between the aluminum mount and the block.

Yeah, I checked and replaced those... they all looked fine, but just in case.

Try the valve cover gasket. that was the problem with mine. except mine continues to smoke because all that oil is burning off my exhaust.
try this: http://evansweb.info/2003/02/19/quic...ngine-oil-leak |

Mine is leaking from the engine oil housing itself. I just found out that there is a O ring that goes on it and if its missing it will leak like hell!
