How easy is it to remove the center console and where can i get info on removing it. Thanks

ok, how do i take apart the shifting.. because i got the back part my the seats to lift up but nothing wanted to move by the counsel area.. any tips?

At the rear of your leather shift boot (bottom edge) push it forward and lift. The front part can lift up then as well. Pull the shifter back to Neutral and pull hard straight up to release it from the console (careful not to hit yourself in the face).

but i dont have a leather shift boot.. its plastic...

in my non-automatic Z, I removed the center console without removing shift knob. only needed some more care to pass over it. your plastic "boot" think is simpli fixed with connectors same of the leather one..you just have to give a look at it

maybe is just the same

Removal instructions are the same. Once out of the car, turn it over and the console trim pieces can easily be removed with screws.
