2011 535 Six Speed in Texas

Just thought I'd let all you six speed fanatics know that my local BMW dealer,in Fort Worth, has a six speed 535i. It's Milano Beige with Venitian beige interior. I believe it has ZPP, ZP2, ZSP and a few others.

Kind of interesting that they mated the sporty 6MT with the not so sporty (IMO) color combo. I had seen a 535i 6MT at my dealer, Black Sapphire with Venetian.

Bump, just in case there are any really hardcore manual fans who like a "pretty" color. Any of you have a wife who perfers manual. I wonder if there will ever be any interest in this car?

To answer part 1 of your question, my wife prefers manual. She's been driving a 5 spd '02 530 since it was new (Over 100k miles with the same clutch & brakes, she claims with pride) She'll be driving a 535 6spd (Imperial Blue) in a Feb ED. Would have gotten a 528 if they came in an MT.
I think the female 6 speeders are out there but just few and far between.

I think each dealer initially had a demo 535i with an MT, and of course any other ones were solely up to dealer discretion. Richmond BMW (VA) has a 535i Dark Graphite/black/anthracite wood that's got the sport package and not too much extra. I hope it sells because it's a nice combo, although too bad, it lacks Adaptive Drive.

DC area folks should take heed since I doubt DC area dealers stock manuals and/or sport pack cars.
