Speed camera warnings
Anyone know if there are any solutions that allow the pro nav to alert on fixed location speed cameras. I've found a couple of third party sites that support the E60 nav but can't find anything yet for the F10.
Failing that, can anyone recommend an 'invisible' speed camera detector - i.e. one that doesn't have to be clagged onto the dash or window? Liked the look for the road pilot micro, but it seems to have been discontinued now. |

If you have an iPhone, check the app store. There are various apps that claim to do this, at least in the Swiss store. I did have an app where people could report ad hoc speed cameras as well, but I cannot remember the name. Just don't know how reliable these things are.

Are radar detectors legal in the UK?

I don't know the specifics of how the speed cameras work in the UK. However in some jurisdictions in the US, the radar detector can pick up the presence of a speed camera, because the cameras use a form of radar to measure and determine the vehicle speed. So if radar detectors are legal, perhaps that may help in picking up speed cameras.

I was more thinking POI on the pro nav. You can do this on the E60, but I've not seen anything for the F10 yet.
