I get to add my own photos tonight! Seattle rarely gets snow accumulation. This is the second storm of the season, but the first was worse by far. That said, I went on a walk tonight and saw two articulating buses failing to get up a hill with chains on their tires. This city shuts down if there is any snow on the ground. It's rather funny.

My car in full winter mode, with bottle caps & dedicated snow tires. Doesn't usually get driven during the week though, so I won't be taking it out anytime soon.

The driveway is not even close to drivable yet... I'm won't need studded tires just to get out. Hopefully some more snow throwing, shoveling, and sand will get me up the driveway.

You're welcome to come over and try

I think you are underestimating the slope and amount of snow and ice that is there. It might be hard to tell from that picture.

We sure are. Total this year, we've gotten around 4-5 ft in CT. The normal average for the season is 6in and it's not even done yet. They're already talking about another storm on Wednesday.

Snow in Arkansas!! They freak out over one to two inches of snow here. I'm originally from Delaware (Dela-where?). Now THAT snow I miss! I used to have a 91 3 series vert. Stick shift to top it off. Good ol' college days.

This mark shows up due to my engine heat as I had just parked it before the snow started so the engine was warm. I have hood insulation so I have no idea what and where this mark is from. Any ideas peeps? And no no one drew it or anything as it happens everytime it snows and the car is warm. I think its uber cool but still annoys me that I don't know what it's from.

It's the hood braces. They conduct some heat from the engine to the hood, since that's where the insulation is the thinnest.

just the reinforcement under the hood skin... different thickness so its causes the snow to melt at different rates, my eta looks identical to this when it snows.. havent noticed it on the e36 yet

It would be so wicked if the reinforcements were shaped like supermans insignia a? Or the BMW logo perhaps... Hmmm... Oh well. An eight will do for now. Thanks for sorting it for me guys. 'preciate ya'll.
