From a current Audi owner's perspective…

A couple of angles to tackle from: 1. Audis are famous for their Check Engine Lights. It's been said that if your CEL isn't on, you're not driving an Audi. 2. I recently read in an auto magazine that "advertising is the price companies pay for being unoriginal." I see a lot more Audi commercials than I do for BMW.

And the idea that all Audi owners secretly want a BMW is true.

If I were in your position though, I'd take the high road and not degrade myself to her level. You cannot pull yourself up by putting others down.

I will have to do a little intel on this. My sis, years ago drove a 528 till all the lights on the dashboard were lit up like a Christmas tree. She now, last time I checked, drives an A4. Without causing WWIII at the Christmas dinner table I might have to check this out.

You might wait until after dinner to do your checking out.... Especially if your sis is a rabid Audi fan.

LOL. I never know which way the wind is blowing where she is concerned. Personally, I think her Audi was a compromise.....

Ouch! Your 'investigating' could go nuclear quick - especially if the Audi was a compromise away from a BMW....

To the OP, you can say the following when you see her again.

You know that look women get when they want sex? No, me neither, but I drive a BMW.

- or -

I saw 3 men vandalizing an Audi yesterday. A bystander said "Are you going to do something?" I said "No, 3 should be enough"

?? am I making friends now in a BMW forum?

I agree...it's why West West is still here. He regrets his decision...though his car seats are sexy.

If that doesn't work (unlikely), I think a "whatever..." in a high pitched, effeminate voice (as suggested above) followed by a flounce across the bar would be the best though. She will immediately recognize you as a secret S4 driver and rethpect your ride.
I was going to show a picture of your white fridge and Purity. That would win any girl over!

True...BMW finally ran some radio ads that 14 other car companies are making their rides similar to a BMW.

Did this post turn into a "Kill the Toyota Prius Kill Thread"? I'm sorry!

I think at the next C2C event I need to come a day early or leave a day late and go to the track with you.

I recommend flattening all of her tires, and then put shaving cream on her window with 3 letters "B M W" That should solve any issues.

I used to have an Audi. I took it everywhere but it had LoJack and the damn cops kept returning it to me.

When I used to have an Audi as my daily driver I had the perfect second car. A tow truck.

I stuck up for Audi the other day. Someone on an internet forum posted that everyone hates driving Audis. I told him that was ridiculous, not everyone has driven one. yet.

If somebody was disrespecting you b/c you drive a BMW, they are a tool. I wouldn't stoop to their level and worry about a comeback. Take the high road. Am I proud to be an Audio owner. Yes. But I felt equally as proud of my 330i. But in the end, both are just material possessions, so it really doesn't matter anyway. All this BMW vs. Audi banter is pointless. Reminds me of Mac vs. PC, or the way people bicker about sports.

Climbing on my soap box...
It drives me nuts when people say, "we kicked your ass 45-10!" Huh? I'm sorry, I didn't see you out of the field wearing a helmet and pads. What's all this "we" talk. All these fans did was sit on their fat ass in front of the TV and yell at the refs. Same goes for cars. "Our cars are better than yours." WFT? Last time I checked, most people are not the engineers that designed them, nor the artists that came up with the styling. Don't know about the rest of you, but all I did was show up at the dealer and write a check. Not quite something to beat my chest about.
