Which Aftermarket Warranty to Buy? 2007 525i

Hi I've been a fan of BF for a while now and this is my first post. I have a 2007 525i that is not CPO. I also didn't purchase it from a BMW dealer. I purchased my E60 in Feb/2009 and it currently has 80,000 miles. I'm looking for any good options to buy an aftermarket warranty? Thanks everyone.

+1. Also, extended warranties are hard to find and expensive if purchased after expiration of the factory warranty.

Extended Warranty

I made my dealer buy me a warranty when I bought my '05 530 which came from Great Lakes Warranty ...and just received notice they filed for bankruptcy.

My Credit Union offers extended warranty that any member can buy. . .it is not cheap but at least you would have a reputable organization to stand behind it. Check your CU for same.

Check out CarChex http://www.carchex.com/Default.aspx

I've heard pretty good things about these guys. After searching high and low for red flags to no avail, I went ahead and purchased 4yr/60k mile warranty which includes wear and tear for 2,800. You can pay $250 more and get a $0 deductible, which I did. Some people would argue that I should have put the $2800 away for future repairs. It's your money, spend it in a way that makes YOU comfortable and happy.
