Question Cheapest BMW online parts seller

I am going to be ordering some heating switches and trim (for the first time for BMW cars) and would like some help locating a trusted online vendor with relatively cheaper prices than the dealer. Can someone post a link or pm me?

Thanks.

That's where I source all my parts if my local dealer charges too much.

Don't totally discount dealers, especially if you have the BMWCCA discount. I've had great experiences over the years with Crevier, BMW of Bloomfield, and others.

I've had good luck with Tischer BMW, which is mentioned earlier in the thread. But don't expect any hand holding from them -- they get low cost by offering "efficient"and low overhead ordering, e.g., I believe they do not even take phone calls, but only e-mail responses, e.g., if you need any advice or verbal help, go with your local parts department at your BMW dealer.

Good prices, good service, but very limited support.

We dont take phone calls because we are so busy answering the hundreds of emails we get daily....many of which would be considered 'hand holding' on how to order or look-up parts. We are happy to give advice and support on parts and order placement....but we do it efficiently with electronic communication only (email, pm, livechat, etc.). If we brought back the phone line....you'd never get through as the volume we handle is gi-normous. Give it a try...you'll see we are pretty quick....typically answering within the hour during normal business hours. (Mondays are usually the exception since we have hundreds of emails to catch up on that pile up over the weekends)

Indeed! I've dealt with Evan W. with questions about the performance kit for the X6 and Jason R. more recently with help picking a winter wheel set. Both were awesome!

Tischer's shipping to Canada costs way too much though. Ordering an oil filter costs $35 shipping alone.

It's a 35.00 minimum flatrate for shipping to Canada....so be sure the parts you're ordering justify the shipping cost. We'd recommend you get an oil filter locally if that's all you need.

+3 for Tisher,

Watch out, some local dealers do mark up above MSRP and then apply the 10% off with the CCA discount, making you think you're getting a good deal. Ask me how I know...
