Why BMW X-Series is Better than ML Class

What do you think is BMW X-Series better then Mercedes-Benz ML-Class.

I went with x5. But was [__] this far from driving away on ml. After some research it seems that ml has more hp.

They are different too ML320, ML350, ML 430, ML500, My wife has ML 430 4,3L Looks like a good car, it's hard to decide what is better.

well, i chose the X5 because of the stiffness and more sporty features. i dont like driving a cloud. but i will take an ML over a X3..

I have an 03 X5 and am moving to an F10, but will miss the X5. Beautifully styled for an SUV and has improved over time. Would consider the Porsche before Mercedes, due to styling and sport engineering.

I can tell you from personal experience that the BMW X5 is a far better vehicle than the ML. My first ML was a 98 ML320. The car was in the shop about a dozen or so times for problems like the front defogger not working to the power door locks, check eng light, low wiper fluid light never went out even when full, very loud brake squeal, windsheild rattle and on and on. When my lease was up I did not want another MB vehicle, but my wife insisted she wanted another ML and I was convinced by the dealer that the 2002's were reworked and much more reliable than the 98's. We went with the ML500 and sure enough the problems started again. The worst part was the brake squeal, it was actually embarassing to drive it, thats how load it was and the dealer insisted that it was normal. The only thing I miss from the ML was the sound system, Really much better than my X5, however the X5 is really much better in build quality, cabin noise, ride, performance overall and gives a much better driving experience. Maybe I got lemons and it is not typical of MB vehicles but I can only say I was very dissapointed with both that I had and will never lease or purchase another MB vehicle again.
