Found this out when I started looking around. I thought all radiators were created equally. Guess not. I was thinking I could get this set up this way anyways even if the radiator and ATF cooler was an OEM single intergrated unit.

I never heard of deleting the electric fan. There's the FDM, Fan Delete Mod, but it's for deleting the clutch fan driven by the belt. I wouldn't delete the electric fan if I were you.

When did I say anything about deleting an electric fan? EFM is exactly what you are describing. I have no idea where you are getting these random details from.

Well, excuse me. Do you see the similarity between EFM and FDM? The FDM is a "mod" that deletes the fan. I figured you either had the terminology mixed up, or the "mod" was going to be to eliminate the fan. Carry on.

Well FDM also stands for Fan Delete Mod Which makes it a bit more obvious.

I am not sure how that acronym got into my head..Maybe I just made it up. I just recall seeing the mod with a link in someones sig somewhere.

John, that's my point exactly. FDM is Fan DELETE mod, and that is what I wrote, which means deleting the belt driven clutched fan on the water pump. What did you think I said?

That is exactly what I think you said....

My point was that you were assuming to what "Electric Fan Mod" meant (the wording doesn't explicitly say whether it is being added or deleted) as compared to "Fan Delete Mod" which explicitly states that it is being deleted.

You're right, it doesn't say 'delete', but what "mod" would you do to an electric fan beside delete it (or add it if it doesn't have one already)?

Your list of parts looks good. Is the puller fan that comes with the aluminum radiator the electric fan mod you were talking about? Get rid of the clutch fan and replace it with the electric? I like.

Yes, that is what I meant. Know anything about a temp switch? I could make one, but its easier to buy off the shelf parts.

Didn't know it was an option. I read through that thread, looks like they just jump the signal off of the OEM one.

Just found the issue. A broken nipple that was connecting 2 hoses. Looks like I got lucky this time!
