e38 check break lining messege

can someone tell me plzzzzzzz how to turn off check break lining messege on the e38 comptuer.i push the emergency break and releave it since then that message comeing up

Linings = brake pads.

Once a sensor triggers, that sensor also needs to be replaced. There are two, one on the front driver's (USA) side and one rear passenger side. Replace the pads that are running low and the appropriate sensor(s).

It's on page 76 of this: Owner's Manual

Once you do replace your brake sensor(s), you'll either need to go thru some drive cycles for the error codes to go away. Or, I think you can turn your key to the last positon (the position before you start your car) & leave it there for 30 seconds & that will reset the error warning (after you've replaced the dead brake sensor).
