LED light strips

Nothing screams "I'm trying to look like a brand new Audi, but I am in fact a 10 year old BMW" like those retarded LED strips.

i didnt lower it it was lowered when i got it, and yes it does bottom out on some speed bumps / doesnt clear curbs

In my opinion, the only cars that will look good with Audi light strips are the Audi's that already have them. If you really want your car to look like an Audi, sell the BMW and buy an Audi.

And by the way, the girls I know would point and laugh at the "BMW that thinks it's an Audi" if you do decide to get those light strips anyway.

Have you looked at Angel Eyes instead? I would advise that if you want to change the look of your headlights.

You know what, never mind. I just reread your posts, and I realized you see the Audi-like LED light strips as "sick," not in the modern, "that's so cool!" sense, but in the classical, "I think I'm going to blow chunks" definition of "sick." Apologies once again.

I bought these at Autozone. When I opened them I immediately regreted it. Now they sit in my trunk and do nothing. You just can't put those on a Bimmer. Its a BMW not a Honda I told myself! lol

putting LEDs on a e39 does not make it look like another car, it is still a e39 just with aftermarket LEDs that will probably either look great or horrible. Its like grandpa throwing on perfect aftermarket teeth, he's not going to look like you with the all American smile, he will still look like himself just with fake teeth that will either look great or horrible depending on how much he paid and how much effort the dentist put into it. Cars can be a form of expression opinions aren't facts. "the (right) girls" don't care what mods you have, they care about how much you make/provide/protect and if you can set an example to the kids that you'll be responsible and committed but forget what makes others happy. In a couple years when every car has LED's will it be that they are all trying to look like each other? yea right. If nothing melts and you can make it look stock why not. Of course the BMW enthusiast will spot you a mile away but who cares?... below is a picture attached of a board member that screwed mini led strips under each fog lamp that is powered by a positive lead in the headlight system

with all that said i like to keep my e39 OEM stock 2003 look what do those new audi's know about 2003 yellow LED angel eyes?
