I bought my BMW X3 2007 couple months ago and now I am looking to get the BMW X-Raid look, but I am having a hard time trying to find the right parts for upgrading the following:
• Suspension • Gas tank safety bladder • Cab cage • Seats seatbelt harness • Air intake and exhaust * Under carriage Skid Plate * Wide body fenders |

well......I think if you really look at those "X3's" that run the desert races you'll find they have about as much in common with our X3's as a duck has with a Klingon Bird of Prey. Yeah they both fly but one has Phasers and stuff and travels at warp speed while the other has, um, a beak, webbed feet and swims in a pond. Your X3 is the one with the beak and webbed feet, btw.
Everything on the "X Raid" vehicle is so far from stock that you'd really be better off building one from scratch than trying to convert your poor unsuspecting X3 into that mutant thing. But please dont let me dissuade you! Post pics! http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0WTb_tE_B...-1920x1080.jpg

You would be best off to visit X-Raid's website. As you probably know they are a Race Team in Germany that builds vehicles for the major world rallies. They do have used vehicles for sale.As Cubed said, there is not much in common with the stock X3.It could be a fun project if you were a bodyman and painter, just to get the "look" .Good luck

Do you want the look or the ride? Getting the ride will be, as mentioned, very hard. Starting that the XRaid is a tubular frame purpose built car with some X3 plastic bits strapped on... it's actually the same frame as used in the mini crossover... just different plastic bits. If however you just want the look, get aquainted with a hacksaw and get down to it... you can look at these guys too: http://www.hartge.de/e/offroad_4819.html

Hartage
Hartage is your only option and be prepared to spend big bucks that you will never get back upon resale.

If you want an offroad vehicle, It'll be cheaper for you to just buy a wrangler and customize that then redoing EVERYTHING in order to get the functionality and look of the rally cars. These cars were not designed to do off roading, if you want something along those lines get the right tool for it, don't try to unscrew a philips screw with a flathead, might work, but it'll be more trouble than it's worth. just my 2c.

Holy cow! $13,041 us for a 3.91 to 1 diff before shipping and customs!!! Looks super cool (hell I want one) but you could get a sweet used Rubicon already built with Dana 60s and auto disconnect sway bars for $20k and that would have superior ground clearance are axel articulation.
