mpg indicator question
I did a comparision using 28i and 35i build tool on bmwusa website. it seems that mpg indicator is default on 28i and battery charging indicator is default on 35i. but I saw battery indicator on an 28i I recently test drove. This confused me a bit. I think the mpg indicator is replaced by battery indicator on 28i by one of the option packages (premium or tech or whatever). does anyone know in what configuration you would get the MPG indicator (see attached photo) instead of the battery charge indicator on F25 instrument panel?

I recently drove both versions and did not see the MPG dial on either one. Are you sure you are not looking at a European model?

The Energy Control (instant consumption) comes with all X3s. In vehicles without Professional Navigation, it is the typical analog dial. In vehicles with Nav, the display is digital and also has the Brake Regeneration display.
I've attached the respective pages from the Owners Manual for comparison. |
