As far as mp3 ill try to explain it to you later, in trying to find a better way to turn it on than what I did. But kmp3 and mp3 aren't valid for the 7s vo.

Cd changer. All 7 series changer are capable, so there's no need to run and get a changer from a 750

Probably the most interesting thread I have read since the transmission reset tip. I have to admit that I don't understand all of it though. Are these guys using a laptop to access the car's main computer to change these codes and enable these features?

Adrian or anyone capable of doing this going through or living close to Louisville, Kentucky...I would pay good money to have these new features? PM me if you are knowledgeable on this. Thanks to all for loving these cars enough to spend the time to figure these tricks out. Amazing!

You have to code the car to tell it to support mp3.

Definitely give us the details on this when you get a chance!

Also, Does anyone know how to tell what software version (ilevel) the car is programmed to? My car was programmed last year but I don't know exactly what version it is at.

You have to save it as a new file and when you save it in txt make sure it's same format not txt ..also make sure to make a copy of the org file ...this way if you did anything to it you can use it as backup .

Awesome thread. I had played around with NCS a couple years back, but don't think I had the latest version of the files to support our E65. Further - just couldn't get the bravery to try it out.

It would be amazing if we can enable MP3 support! Why would they not enable it by default is beyond me.

For those of you in areas where there is no one to assist with coding your car.......if you have internet access where your car is...possibly wireless from your garage....there is nothing that stops one of these guys from remotely assisting you
