Ok this is going to sound bad but those 3 wheel combinations are all 3 of my very most hated wheels on the E39 LOL. M3 wheels (style 67) shouldn't be on a 5. Don't look right. The style 19 octopus wheels are just hideous any way you look at it and while the 18" basket weaves have grown on me a bit the stock setup doesn't do a whole lot for me. As long as you love it though that is all that matters!

02 530i M Sport in Australia

Attached are pictures of my Red 02 BMW 530i M Sport in Australia.
I bought it last month (March 2011) and it only had 51,500klms on it.
Had been a one owner and always garaged with Synthetic Oil changes done every 5,000klms. Absolutely immaculate and I love it.
Have had 7 BM'S but all of them only had 2 wheels.
Will be buying tires from USA and freighting them to Australia as they are rediculously expensive here. $533 for a rear Continental tire that I can get from TireRack for $159.

To each his own, I along with many others think style 19's are a classy two-piece, especially as a OEM wheel.

Indeed. Many do like them. Wheels are highly subjective for sure. And agreed, to each their own. Cheers!

Hey Bruce,

I have a 02 530i Sport as well and I use Toyo Proxis4, 235 on the front and 255's on the rear, great tyres dry or wet and only about $300 each. I have travelled about 25,000k's on them and still heaps of meat left on them.

Enjoy your new ride.
