There is a 7.5 amp fuse under the rear seat. If that fuse is blown the locks will not work, windows will not work and your wipers will only work on high.

Why on earth would someone put a fuse under the rear seat? I like these cars, but they sure have strange quircks. That is the last place
I would think to look for a fuse or relay. Nice response CarDriver...

i had the same problem... and the same reaction to where the fuse was... when pulling out my back seat... the edge of the seat caught the fuse and pulled it out... what threw me is that there was still power going to the switches... but motors weren't working... back seat fuse fixed it.... thanx all

There are several possibilities. The 7.5 amp fuse (brown) will cause this, as will a failed General Module (black box next to 7.5 amp fuse under rear seat) a broken strap fuse under the passenger's side of rear seat (on the small positive battery cable) or broken wires along the LH trunk hinge bar...

@jfs356... they do have strange quirks... i once went over my best friends house way in the country to drive him to the va in his truck... unknowing i left my lights on while we were gone... my drivers side door won't open from the inside because the bowden cable is broken... i rolled the windows up before we left so that cats wouldn't get in the car... when we got back... he dropped me off to my car and he went to town to shop... when i got in the car and closed the door behind me and tried to crank the car... nothing the battery was dead... then i realized that i couldn't roll the window down to open my drivers side door from the outside... imagine my surprise when i reached over to open the passenger side door and it was locked... as were the two back doors... imagine my further surprise when i tried to pull up the locks and unlock the doors and nothing happened.... it dawned on me that I WAS TRAPPED!! i literately couldn't get out.... i had to call my friend to come back and let me out of my own car... and worse he brought back some guys with him to help him laugh at me.... i still get laughs and stories of "remember when you got locked in your own car??".... yeah... these cars do have some strange quirks...
