Is it not on BMW USA? I know BMW Germany has the catalogue with brilliant pictures and descriptions (I have one of these), but language and option availability are issues.

No, it's not yet on BMW USA (just some flimsy flyer but nothing real). I also have the brochure for Germany but that doesn't tell us much about the details/options for the US...

Have you tried the online Car Configurator? I think the packages and options are listed pretty well; then reference the catalogue for detailed descriptions of what they actually do.

My advice? Get any option that has "Handling" or "Sport" in the name, otherwise it's a bit soggy and bland.

Only problem is no one has a vehicle to drive that has that option, so you would be making a $1,500 assumption it will change things.

I just crossed Passport off my list as the salesperson was rather rude when I asked to drive one, and in his e mail he replied "not happening". Instead of "let me find out".

I don't think anyone in my immediate area has the DHP option. Performance BMW has one with Sport Activity and 19" wheels (sweet Continental tires!) and the Sport Automatic Getriebe but that doesn't have the EDC dampers.
