Mein Auto: 1995 m3 convertable
Lightbulb cant find a used diff for my 1995 m3 , any help please ??

after owning my m3 for 6 years without any problems my diff went, i took it to a bmw specialist who found me a replacement with a 3 month warranty , after only a week this diff too has failed me !!! i cant find a replacement anywhere with any warranty and cant risk one without. the garage cant find one nor can the suppliers, if anyone out there could point me in the right direction or offer any help on finding one it would be greatly appreciated .. missing my m3 bad .... cheers...

Bite the bullet and call Dan at www.diffsonline.com They are in Mass, but ship. He will build, or rebuild a diff to whatever specss you want. Be warned, it's not going to be cheap.


Another option is Matrix Motorsprots, Look on Ebaymotors under e36 M3 diff. I'd go for the 3.46:1 40% lockup, polished gearset, when my 3.38 dies. Last time I looked, it was $1000 or so.
