We are going to do another photoshoot in a couple of weeks. Some of these didn't turn out as good as we liked. I should have waited closer to sundown.
I had the headlamps professionally painted with the amber reflector painted over and the rest of the headlamp is lightly tinted. It looks MUCH better in person. It's very odd how the 2 amber turn signal bulbs in the eyebrows show through so much in the pictures but you can barely see them in person. Also weird since I changed out the single "driving light" bulb in the corner but it looks amber.. Anyhoo. Feedback is appreciated.

Its cool that you have the passion and took the time to photograph the car. I would drop the car either with springs or coil overs.

That first pic is magazine quality, very nice composition. The mountains in the background of the last freeway shot are spectacular. I would try to get a few pics with the mountains as a backdrop on the next photo shoot.

Thanks for the compliments. I value your opinion as you are one of the most knowledgeable, resourceful members on this board. I've learned a lot from your input on all sorts of topics.
If I can time another photoshoot to around 45 minutes before the sun goes down,,, the shot with the mountain in the background will be breathtaking. I've taken a few in the past with prior cars at this spot and they turn out incredible.

It's dropped with Eibach springs. I think we're all getting spoiled seeing all the slammed 6'rs on coilovers. Coilovers are on my list to do this summer.

Thanks,,, one of my friends is a part time photographer. I know she uses a Nikon camera. Not sure what effects she uses.

I love this background too... I've used this exact spot under an old rusty bridge for photoshoots of some of my older cars:

One thing for sure, she is using very good lenses and a polariser filter, in addition to great Photoshop skills. That is what typically separates the pro from the amateur, the quality of their glass. Pro lenses cost about $2K each and up.

Geat pics...anymore info. on the headlights? Did the shop bake them in order to seperate and get the reflectors painted?

I should clarify. I had the outside of the headlamps painted & cleared. The actual reflector inside the headlamp was not removed. The shop that did this also painted the rest of the headlamps in a lighter shade of black. I then had them clearbra'd. The work they did is absolutely fantastic.

Northwest Auto Salon is a detailing company that I used to be a part of. They are a very high end detail shop based out of Seattle. I still detail the occasional exotic from work that I got from them. Check out their site... I think you'll be impressed.

Quite brave taking the 6 to Cosco! That I will never do because of the shopping cart hell and the bulk mania that goes on there. Tired of seeing huge vans and trucks loading up and owners who have no regards for the car next to them when loading.
