Brighter Angel Eyes

I've searched and searched. I just put in the Mtec V2 today and you can barely see them in the daylight. Is there anything new out there that is way brighter? Like a 6W or something? I want something that can be seen in the daytime like the new 3 and 5 series. Anybody know of anything?

i'm pretty sure there isn't any bulbs out that you can just plug in to be as bright as the new 2011 models, i'm assuming that you have a pre face lifted model, i think that you have to get a HID kit with ballast and everything to run it that bright

Not to be an ass or anything, but this is the main reason I did not spend $130+ on a set of angel eye LED's that weren't going to be much (if any) brighter than the 5-watt $50 LED bulbs I purchased on ebay. The newer cars have very bright angel eyes, while pre LCI 6-series and 5-series cars have dimmer angel eyes. Thanks for sharing this info with us.

I would love to install the new model angel eyes on my 645. Is it possible to do without spending an arm and a leg?

If you are talking about new model 6er "LCI" there are none that I could find. These bulbs will not work on the 08 and up 6 series. I tried, but had to return them. I hope I am understanding your question correctly.

If you already have the MTECs you can buy some super bright CREE LEDs and just use the casing from your MTECs. This would require a bit of solder and electrical skill, but I've seen people do this kind of thing before.

The rings on each side of the car are from one bulb (kinda). The box shown comes with the two LED bulbs you need. I have the same thing.

ok there is a deal for $132 i think its a fair price for the V3's. They seem alot brighter then the 5watt ones just from lookin at this picture. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger.

I also have the leds and they work fine. Only thing is that they flash a few times when starting the car because of the self check of the car for the bulbs. Is there something to do about this flashing as it disturbs me ?

How was the install? Can it be done the same way as previously shown by others with the 5watt angel eyes?

Are the V3 available for the 6 series? Can you post a link?

The E9x LCI AE's fit the LCI E63/E64. So if your sixer is '08+ you should be good!

hmmm, yea i assumed they would also fit the 07' 6er. I actually only see the V2.1 made specifically for the E63.

Ya, that sucks. Maybe if enough people ask Mtec they'll come out with the V3's for E63's.

Little late. But iJDMtoy has some nice stuff and they've always been great to do business with in the past.
