How to check if my X6 is really 40d engine spec/model?

Hi there, I recently bought a imported UK spec X6. Can anybody let me know how do I check if my X6 is really 40d spec? Because I'm actually worried that I've been conned by my car dealer, and it could be a 30d or 35d..

I'm from a country where not all car dealers are very honest, there are cases of lower spec cars being sold at a higher spec price, and altering the documents.. etc.

Is there a website or something that I can put in the engine number and chassis to check what model is the engine?

Lift up your hood. 40d has 2 intakes and 30d has 1.

drive it in manual gear , 40d has 8 gears, the rest (30d and 35d) has 6 gears
