a 750iL is not the sort of car you want to buy if its been knocked around, but the M73 engine is nice, 5.4L V12.

It only looks like a flesh wound, I only want one to swap a 6 speed in. And why do you say that about the car. I mean my 535 has definitely seen some better days, and its still fine. I guess I feel that 96 to like 04 are real stout cars like the ones before it.

It's a 95, the 95s are known for having lots of bugs.(1st year of the e38) Also they don't make 750i six speeds b/c it's almost a limo.(Long wheelbase) Actually they don't make any 7series six speeds. It's like a lincoln town car of bmws. Plus the v-12 requires lots of maintence.

Not true really. All of the extra electronic junk bolted to the 750 model might cause problems but I never had a single engine issue on my 750iL. No more mork to maintain than the 740iL that was in the garage before it.
