Cleaned MAF

So I cleaned my Mass Air Flow sensor last night and the car has a noticeable difference in power and acceleration! But, my SES light is still on and the dreaded increased emissions message still appears. My question is; would it be safe to say the MAF is not bad?

could be a fouled O2 sensor causing SES light, especially if the MAF was dirty.

Thanks for the response! Is there anyway to test the O2 sensor by say, unplugging it? I believe you're correct as Autozone's scanner gave two codes P0171 (MAF) and P0174 (O2 sensor).

Unhooked the MAF while the car was running and there was no change in the engine! Bad MAF! Then, after reading the Bentley manual I realized there are two air flow sensors on my car :-\ One for emissions and one for the engine! Oh great!
