Cleaning Ivory Alcantera Surface on Nappa Leather Interior

Any tips on cleaning the Alcantera surfaces on my Ivory Nappa leather interior? The side panels on the seating surface where the Alcantera is are already turning grey after only 2 weeks.

I think the key to keeping the ivory leather clean is to do frequent vacuuming and wipe downs, especially if you have had the top down for extended periods. Any quality leather cleaner and reconditioner of your preference will work on the nappa leather. Don't forget the back of the headrests! As for the Alcantara inserts, I brush these off and use a damp white tery cloth moistened with a little Woolite to remove the black seatbelt marks when they become visible

This is what really scares me about those light colors. They look so beautiful but I just don't know how they wear after a few years. I know that the darker alacantara color wear really nice, but not sure of the light colors. Curious to follow your experience and have you do a post a year from now and then two years from now.

Uhh, well less than 2 weeks, and the seat inner panels are already dark grey from just sitting on them. Thinking of going to an upholsterer and having the panels replaced or covered in nappa leather like the rest of the seats. The leather is an easy clean.

18 months and all my white Alcantara still looks brand new. I applied fabric protector to it right after I purchased the car.

Scotchguard "Auto Fabric and Carpet Foaming Cleaner" will not discolor. I've been using it once every couple months now for the last 18 months, and no discoloration.

Don't have any experience with cleaning Alcantera myself. However I thought this was a helpful piece - post #5. 303 from ECS, other products noted in post #5. Best of luck.

I just ordered a product called Leather Master Foam Cleaner for Suede and Alcantara. Will post results once I try it out.
