MotorWeek - Drivers Choice Best Sport Sedan - The all-new BMW 5-Series

Quote:
Developed and built alongside the 7-series, the midsize 5 more closely resembles the larger executive express but retains all of the sporty driving dynamics we love.

A proper 6-speed manual is still standard on the six-cylinders, but BMW's new gas-saving eight-speed automatic is a fine alternative. X-Drive all-wheel drive is available across the lineup. New are regenerative brakes, electric power steering, and engine accessories that only produce engine drag when in use. While packing a powerful technology and powertrain punch, the BMW 5-Series does so with equal parts thrill and finesse.

I'm all for saving the environment, but could that prelude have anymore crunch in 2 little paragraphs?

Those are some attributes of the BMW, but I feel there are a lot more important changes to point out!
