Bluetooth connection

We have two Bluetooth devices synched to the I-drive. The devices will no longer make a connection. Is there a reboot option? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Steve

BT is an infuriating concept. You would "think" it is standardized (like an RCA jack or a USB port) but you would be wrong. That is why so few phones are "approved" for use by BMW.

And the variability isn't just on the phone's end. I have a Pantech Duo that I love (slide out QWERTY keyboard). It works flawlessly with my 2011 X5. It works 80% of the time with my 2008 M3. It works maybe 20% of the time in our 2008 X5. Go figure.

Try turning off the BT on your device, then turning it back on. If that doesn't work, you will need to un-pair and re-pair through iDrive.

BB Storm 2 and Samsung Reality

Both devices were synched at delivery and worked fine for almost two weeks.

I'm no techo geek but why do I need a aux cable to stream pandora over bluetooth.

Bluetooth itself should be the wireless medium that would stream the music. If I use Aux, I don't need bluetooth anyway. Clarifications plz.

I've had to reboot my Droid2 a few times, then BT connected perfectly. I have found that when going between my Volvo and the X5, a reboot keeps BT working well (found the same on my iPod).
