We should also have people with police scanners at the front and rear of the caravan and have some agreement about how fast we will go, or break up into groups for those that want to hit triple digits.

#1-We "always" have the Valentines up front, in the middle and in the back.

#2-We "always" have our 140ish crowd and they will "always" do what they want.
and they "always" slow down (or pullover) and wait for the pack.

#3-It will be ok, myself and a couple others from Bay Bimmerz put this caravan together every year and it seems to go quite well, "but" there will "always" be someone that isn't happy with something.
When you deal with this many cars/people, you do the best you can.

#4-Like others have said FRS radios is the only way to go , if you don't have one, buy one, this is for everyone, no radio, no communication!

So, come out SpeedinBlueBima, you will have a great

Keep your eyes posted for Bay Area/Nor.Cal/Oregon/Washington caravan info, coming soon.
You can also go to baybimmerz.com and ask to be added to the "official" Evite/email list.
We will meet up in Pleasanton (1st stop) @ Nordstrom's in Stoneridge Mall on Friday sometime between 9am to 10am, it's still being discussed.

Coming from Sacramento

I live in Tracy, and will be meeting the group in Pleasanton. Emial me (BMWDUDE@weingand.net) and we can talk about times and a place to meet. Then we will Bimmer-it to PLeasanton together. I will have three cars with me as well, so you will get to meet some people early on.

P.S. Welcome to the BimmerFest.

I'll be there already looking forward to it.

Ty

PS Technically I live in Washington, but Vancouver Washington is a suburb of Portland, Oregon. Telling people I live in Vancouver makes people think i'm Canadian (like the Dave's that came to the fest with us last year.)

Yeah, I knew this!

So, what did you buy, let's see pictures!
Vancouver, whatever, I used to live in Lake Oswego and I always told people Portland because they would never know where Lake Oswego was.

For those that are going down with the Bay Bimmerz Caravan, we are staying at the Ramada Limited @ 4770 Calle Real in Santa Barbara, CA 93110.
From what I've heard, rooms are going fast and they are going up, since they "are" booking up.

If you haven't booked a room yet, I suggest you do so, somewhere, because if you don't, you you loose, then you !

Yo Moe!

I saw you getting off of 580 yesterday at Hopyard. Car sounded good bro! I was with Joe in his black M3.

Not sure if I'll make it down this year. We just bought a house so I am BROKE!

For everyone that has emailed BayBimmerz to get on the email list. Don't worry you will be put on the list. Our email just came back up today after several months of being down. I'm going to send out an email this weekend about upcoming events and updates.

Jay

Are we taking 101 down from SF area to SB? It would make for a very scenic drive if we did. I-5 is just very dull....

The answer to that should be yes. That's the route we took last year.

Oh yeah, you know it, I-5 is WAY out of the way for Santa Barbara and like you said, not as dull/boring!

Starting point for "all" of us will be Gilroy.
WOO HOO, less than a month to go!
