We should also have people with police scanners at the front and rear of the caravan and have some agreement about how fast we will go, or break up into groups for those that want to hit triple digits.

#1-We "always" have the Valentines up front, in the middle and in the back.

#2-We "always" have our 140ish crowd and they will "always" do what they want.
and they "always" slow down (or pullover) and wait for the pack.

#3-It will be ok, myself and a couple others from Bay Bimmerz put this caravan together every year and it seems to go quite well, "but" there will "always" be someone that isn't happy with something.
When you deal with this many cars/people, you do the best you can.

#4-Like others have said FRS radios is the only way to go , if you don't have one, buy one, this is for everyone, no radio, no communication!

So, come out SpeedinBlueBima, you will have a great

We will meet up in Pleasanton (1st stop) @ Nordstrom's in Stoneridge Mall on Friday sometime between 9am to 10am, it's still being discussed.

I know a few people from sacto that might come.

I live in Tracy, and will be meeting the group in Pleasanton. Emial me (BMWDUDE@weingand.net) and we can talk about times and a place to meet. Then we will Bimmer-it to PLeasanton together. I will have three cars with me as well, so you will get to meet some people early on.

PS Technically I live in Washington, but Vancouver Washington is a suburb of Portland, Oregon. Telling people I live in Vancouver makes people think i'm Canadian (like the Dave's that came to the fest with us last year.)

For those that are going down with the Bay Bimmerz Caravan, we are staying at the Ramada Limited @ 4770 Calle Real in Santa Barbara, CA 93110.
From what I've heard, rooms are going fast and they are going up, since they "are" booking up.

If you haven't booked a room yet, I suggest you do so, somewhere, because if you don't, you you loose, then you !

Are we taking 101 down from SF area to SB? It would make for a very scenic drive if we did. I-5 is just very dull....

Woo hoo Got the last Gardenside room at the Ramada and registered for the fest. Count us in for the caravan. Keep me posted on details, except to join everyone in Gilroy.
