Whatchu talkin' about Willis??????????????????

Hey, are you driving straight thru again this year, or are you meeting up with us
(Bay Bimmerz) to drive down?
There's going to be a "very" early meet this year that Cliff and I are heading up.
Starting at 6:30 AM in Pleasanton and meeting with whoever else at Gilroy at 8:00 AM.
We are finalizing everything this week for times, meeting spots (2) etc...
I, as well as others, want to get down to Santa Barbara earlier this year, get checked in and relax, wash our cars, etc....

Let me know

Well. that seals it I'll be joining up in Gilroy.

I had flirted with the idea of starting earlier and meeting up with the crowd in pleasanton, so as to have a longer trip with the gang.

For some reason, though, the RKT BMR just won't start before 6 am. I haven't been able to figure out why.

Driving on 680 through San Jose isn't all that exciting, so you'll only miss a photo op in the Nordstrom's parking lot and 45 minutes worth of radio chatter.

FWIW I'm sure there will be a caravan that leaves late in the morning from Pleasanton and departs Gilroy in the early afternoon. Keith and I are early risers though and we'd like to arrive in SB much earlier than we did last year. The only way to get through San Jose on a weekday is to avoid the rush hour, so...

Are you kidding, Cliff? I wouldn't dream of 'vanning down with anyone other than you guys. I'll be at Gilroy, at the appointed time.

Nah, the observation of the later caravan was directed towards those who might misread this exchange and think that the crack o' dawn option was the only one available. Nope, we want you along with us too, Dave.

The return trip was quite small last year...I think there was only six or so of us that came back in a group because we were all at the same hotel.

Honestly, I've not heard of a early morning caravan on Saturday.

As far as the return, it's on Sunday, usually around noon.
