What's "Quake" and I hope that's not an SVT.
04/15/2002 - Updated 10:55 AM ET Ford recalls 2002 Focus SVT hatchback DETROIT (Reuters) — Ford Motor on Monday said it is recalling its all-new 2002 Focus SVT hatchback because of a potential safety problem involving the vehicle's throttle. Ford spokesman Todd Nissen said only 569 Focus SVTs — produced at an assembly plant in Hermosillo, Mexico, between early November and April 8 — were targets of the recall, which was prompted by the discovery that their throttles can get stuck in the open position. But it was the ninth safety-related recall involving a Focus since the vehicle's problem-plagued U.S. introduction in September 1999, highlighting embarrassing quality glitches at the world's second-largest automaker. No accidents or injuries have been reported due to the problem throttle, Nissen said. Ford's limited edition SVT products are a line of special high-performance vehicles.

Quake (a first person shooter game) was really the first (successful) game to hit the internet (it allowed you to play others in real-time over an internet connection). If was developed by the makers of the immensely popular Doom, ID software. I used to play Doom over the phone, and migrated to Quake, but currently play Counterstrike.
Yet another way to fill the day…

A buddy of mine has a son, 17 years old, who's employed to playtest games.... makes close to 80K a year.... he's still finishing his last year of highschool too. this isn't just playing though, he has to find repeatable bugs and figure out where in the code the problem is and pass that on to the developers. bit more than just hitting buttons.
